By Dina BekhoucheEco-friendly fashion is coming to Channel 6. According to our information, M6 is set to launch the show "Restyle" starting September 13, sponsored by Vinted , the platform specializing in second-hand goods. The program features a competition between eight stylists who will have to work with recycled fabrics to create their outfits.
The competition is scheduled to air on the channel and on M6+ on Saturday mornings. "Restyle" will run for 45 minutes and will be on the schedule for six weeks. In partnership with Lion Television Scotland and Mindshare UK, it will also air in Spain and Italy.
The goal: "to promote the full creative and sustainable potential of second-hand fashion," we're told. Designers from all over Europe will compete in a variety of six-hour challenges.
To present this weekend event, M6 chose a face already well-known from its fashion programs: Émilie Albertini. The presenter also appeared alongside Cristina Córdula in "New Look for a New Life" and "Change of Look."
"As a stylist, I know that the key to an original and resolutely modern look is imagination, audacity, and knowing how to make clothes your own," emphasizes the fashion specialist.
To support the launch of "Restyle," Vinted is going further. The popular secondhand goods company is partnering with the project through its app. Starting September 8, viewers will be able to purchase clothing lines designed by the contestants. The prize: the winner's small collection will be included in London Fashion Week. All donations will be donated to an association fighting poverty.
